Re: Help Identifying an SD pickup

Yup. "B" means bridge, "J" means it was wound by MJ. The *different* looking pickups (Full Shred, Invader) only get neck or bridge distinction on the bottom (no model #).

Re: Help Identifying an SD pickup

YAH, but i dont think it is a INVADER. it has 12 Normal polepiecies.
not that BIG invader polepiecies.
so.... i guess it has DOUBLE SD pickups.
how DC resistant must be read on those ?

Re: Help Identifying an SD pickup

I would guess it's 4 conductor, but maybe older ones were 2. If it's a Duncan with 12 hex poles, it's a Full Shred.

Re: Help Identifying an SD pickup

No. I think the Screamin Demon is the only other one that has ANY hex poles, and it only has 6.

Re: Help Identifying an SD pickup

It's a full shred. Get it!

Re: Help Identifying an SD pickup

JP, from what I've heard about the Full Shred, I bet you'll like it. The singer from Opeth uses one, if you know them.

Re: Help Identifying an SD pickup

JP, I have a full shred bridge that has the same letters on it, BJ. I am sure it is a full shred bridge that you are looking at. I say GET IT!!!!!

Re: Help Identifying an SD pickup

GUy.. i guess i´m ****ing Nuts....
NOW i´m a little disappointed with the GUITAR Itself.
Q:/
i´ll get The full shred and test it in my charvel or on the ibanez.
i´ll get THE Set for use
they should be both Full shred but i doubt...

Re: Help Identifying an SD pickup

UPDATE!
If i REALLY Trade the IBANEZ FOR THE CHARVEL... then i must TEST the FULL SHRED in the neck.
OR... I´ll go totally with EMGS on this guitar
DESTROY,ERASE, IMPROVE-CRUSH KILL DESTROY.
ahahahahahahahahah

Do you think a JB in the bridge of a ASH body/maple neck, rosewood board will be A LOT bright?
