help installing pickups

hello everyone I want to install some new pickups on my ibanez rg350dx guitar. I am a total noob at this, I mean big one. I bought the invader for the neck and the dimebucker, I recieved the invader today and want to put it in myself.

I have a 5 way switch which of the installation procedures on the little pink slip that comes with the pick up should I follow?

If I were you, I'd go to the schematics page on the Seymour Duncan website and pick a schematic that is what you want in terms of how the controls are laid out.

yeah, check the sd site for schematics. you got a 5 way switch for 2 humbuckers? theres a bunch of cool stuff you can do with that check the wiring possibilities on their main page.

ok i was able to wire it up what i did was follow the design of the way the dimarzios where set up. But the only difference was instead of the red wire being hot the black one is hot. Ok now im having one problem, the middel pick up is installed but when i select the middle/neck position it sounds the same as the neck. It seems that they are not working together. How can I fix this?



ok i tested again, im somewhat confused the neck position seems to be really loud while the neck/middle position is just a tiny bit lower? Is this the way its supposed to be??
