Thanks for the info Kent, but the problem I've been having, is when I use the Diamrzio diagram as posted in the first post, which I have used on another guitar with fabulous results, is the selections are all out of whack. I will look carefully at the info you provided and give it a try. It will probably be the weekend, but I will post the results.

Just so you know, that last diagram I made for you is using the stock switch. Its just the "artwork" (borrowed from what you posted), that makes it appear as a DMZ switch. Ignore the pole spacing but keep the sequence. You'll notice that I use the #2 and #4 positions for the splits - even though they go 2, 3, 4, 5, 1 . . . like Kent said.

I'll have to sort through all of this. I would like the arrangement to be as the DiMarzio description but I'll live with whatever happens. I guess it's a matter of not knowing what's going on as far as selection sequence and even if I got it right, I figured it was wrong... If that makes any sense.

I will tackle this on the weekend and I will post the results. Thanks to Artie and Kent for their help on this.

Well, I'm going topick the scab on this one and open it up again. I just finished re-wiring this one as per the instructions provided by Kent S. I used this wording that he gave me:

Assignments For Jackson 5 Way Multi-Pole Lever Selector Switch, Per DiMarzio Pickups.

Jackson Switching Logic As Follows:
Positions:
#1 ... Bridge ( Series )
#2 ... Neck ( Series )
#3 ... Inside Coils ( Series )
#4 ... Outside Coils (Series )
#5 ... Neck & Bridge ( Neck Series, In Parallel With Bridge Series )
All Positions Are Humbucking, And In Phase.

See Orientation Of Selector Switch Per Jackson Pictorial Schematic.

Switch Jumpers Are Wired As Follows (Throws Per Commons):

Com. A: 1& 5 To Com. C: 4
Com. B: 1,3,& 5
Com. C: 2& 5 To Com. A: 3
Com. D: 5 To Com. B: 2& 4
Commons B & D To Hot Output

Mount Option 1 ...
Normal Neck Mount (Adjustable Poles Towards Neck):
Reverse Magnet On Neck Pickup, Wire As Follows:

Com. A ... Bridge Red; Throw 1 ( For Com. A ) ... Bridge Green.
Throw 5 ( For Com. B ) ... Bridge Black.
Com. C ... Neck Green; Throw 5 ( For Com. C ) ... Neck Red.
Throw 5 ( For Com. D ) ... Neck White.
Bridge White & Neck Black To Ground, Along With All Shields, Control Bodies, & String Grounds.

Mount Option 2 ...
Reversed Neck Mount (Adjustable Poles Towards Bridge):
Leave Magnet As Is, Per Factory Stock, Wire As Follows:

Com. A ... Bridge Red; Throw 1 ( For Com. A ) ... Bridge Green.
Throw 5 ( For Com. B ) ... Bridge Black.
Com. C ... Neck Red; Throw 5 ( For Com. C ) ... Neck Green.
Throw 5 ( For Com. D ) ... Neck Black.
Bridge White & Neck White To Ground, Along With All Shields, Control Bodies, & String Grounds.

Nota Bene: The Switch Is The Same As The DiMarzio Multi-Pole Lever Switch.
Gibson Night Hawks Also Utilize The Same Switch, Only The Switch Is Itself Is A Different Physical Style (Due To A Different Manufacturer).

I used mount option #2 so that I didn't have to flip the magnet and I got the proper factory selections for the guitar. It worked perfectly. Almost. It's backwards so that position #1 is closest to the neck etc. I need to know now what to do to reverse it.

It may have been my error too, as the pictures that Kent edited to show what the throws were had been deleted before I got to the job...

Kent? Artie? Any insight?

Can you just physically flip the switch 180 deg's? That would be easiest.

I thought of that, but there is not enough room in the cavity...

I'm just thinking that maybe it's supposed to be backwards.... that the bridge pickup is supposed to be the "first" selection on the switch. Seems odd, but then it is Jackson...
