The pictured shades of the three primary colors are pretty lackluster. I'd go with the white.

Just for the record, the pau ferro to be used for the fretboard is not as dark as something like rosewood. Here is an example of black against pau ferro:

None more black works for me. Especially with the fret markers.

Nice looking Ibanez. You're probably right about the color. My color for the blue might be closer to a sapphire blue... I mixed my own colors in Photoshop because the final color will be custom mixed.

but I thought Royal blue was much darker and more purpleish than shown

White. Definitely. Maybe some gold hardware if white. That's just me. Different strokes for different folks lol.

Dude, Yellow!! Think of it this way-- white and black and yellow and black are strong color combos- AND you've already got a white and black motif base covered with that other guitar!
