Help me choose a neck pickup for my LP Modern Lite

Some reviews and demos make it seem like the DSV neck is bright and clear. It’s hard to know how that translates to a LP guitar in a metal context.

I would not call them bright. They have a higher inductance due the 12 screws. I would call them clear and not muddy with excellent string separation, which is a plus for metal.

I'm in the Pearly camp here.

Bright, lively, not AS mid forward....but in the camp. Sounds like a PG to me.

I was considering a PAF Pro for a minute, but way too mid forward.

Am i the only one who is not hearing much "oommpphh" with the PAF Pro Considering "the PAF", "Air Norton", "Al DiMeola neck" or Alnico 2 Pro, PP is nothing but a mid hump to me.

I don't find the PAF Pro THAT middy. While it is not as scoopy as a Jazz or a '59, to me, the defining feature of the 'Pro is more how attacky it is.

I used to have a very old clip where I compared the JB to the PAF Pro in the bridge, and the Pro is far less mid-forward than the JB.
