I've had this guitar since about '93-'94. Traded a budy for another guitar. I guess it has a wizard neck.

I believe the 70's had pickguards. I'd say yours is a 450 or 550

It looks A LOT like my 570: metallic finish, no pickguard, v7 s1 v8 pick-ups... the only difference is the neck-plate, mine doesn't have one... I'd say it's an older 570...

I had an RG450DX at one point and it had a pickguard and a contoured heel. It was basically a Jem with sharkfin inlays, a bound neck, and no monkey grip. I stopped trying to keep up with Ibanez model #'s a while ago. Cool color though!

Re: Help me identify my guitar...please!!

Looks like a rg570 and according to your # it was built in 92' in Fugijen Japan and was the 34749th guitar built that year.

Ibanez RG 570,

MIJ, earlier model (90s IIRC, according to the serial ´92, so that fits) with original Edge Trem and V-7/S-1/V-8 pickups (V-8 obviously replaced with a Dimarzio or Fullshred), Pre-AANJ (All Access Neck Joint)

Nice for what it is (an Ibanez), but not something I´d want in my collection ;)

Ya, I played it quite a bit in the 90's when I was playing clubs and such. It has a F.R.E.D. in the bridge position. I don't play it enough to merrit putting in new pups. I am looking at trading it off or selling it.
