Help me identify this pickup, please!

Hi all,
New member here,
I recently got a used 2006 Epi Les Paul custom with the intention of doing (more practicing) some mods.
When I looked at the neck PU I was surprised to see 'seymor duncan' on the bottom plate. This is not stock, right? (The bridge says 'epiphone').
Is there a way to identify which SD PU it is? I don't see any number or anything like that. I'm attaching some photos, bottom and top.
Any advice will be appreciated!

Are you able to find out the resistance on the pickup?

Without a sticker on the bottom, many of them look exactly the same. So Christopher is right- get out a meter and we can at least make an more educated guess.

Ok. Thanks guys. I will get a multimeter and come back with the reading.

Well, while we are waiting I'm gonna place my bet. Given its in a budget Les Paul Custom and the stock pickups (which are no doubt worth less) were not returned into the guitar when it was sold to wherever you got it, I'm assuming that the previous owner was fairly new to modding guitars. They probably also removed the stickers because they didn't consider they were ever going to need them later.

That being said I'm going to speculate that there is a Jazz in that there guitar. I'm not saying for certain, it's just a wild guess based on the fact that the Hot Rodded set is the first set that new modders go to. You should check your bridge pickup too, you might find something neat in there.

There's my Holmes moment for the day. There's a big chance I'm wrong, but who knows.

I'm going to speculate that there is a Jazz in that there guitar.

The Jazz should have the Duncan logo on the bobbin and a short-legged baseplate, so no; I don't think it's a Jazz.

That's more like it, as you can get stock, 4-con '59s.

I didn't notice the long legs, but the pickups do appear to have had a gold cover on them at one point, so I assumed it wouldn't have a logo.

Well, I can only refer to a single case of a covered Jazz p'up having the logo underneath, so I too assumed that'll be the norm.
