Re: help me pick a new bridge HB
yes, im looking for more output in the bridge. The A2Pro is great for AC/DC and GNR type gain, but any harder and it just doesnt sound good because it doesnt have the power. I went with the dirty fingers because I read that It was a VERY popular pickup in the 80's and that John Sykes used it when he was with whitesnake and that the lead player from the scorpions used it in the early scorpions records........so I figured I had a good idea of what it would sound like in my LP.
Im not looking to do death metal/scooped mids with it (I dont play that style). Just looking for a good rock/hard rock from the bridge. I wanted to keep the A2Pro in the neck so I could cover blues and low gain rock from the neck.
have you tried a different mag in the A2P?
could just be the A2's lack of output?
