Help me re-find a part

[St_Genesius]

A few days ago, while looking for pots, I came across one whose control was designed to mount underneath the edge of a pickguard -- like on an archtop. It could be manipulated with you fingertips, but remain hidden from view. But I can't for the life of me recall WHERE I saw it or what it was called. Anyone familar with this thing?

Not ringing any bells at all? If I only knew what to call it, my searchign might go a bit better. As it is, I'm trying to figure retrace my searches for other items and hope to come across it. No luck thus far.
