Help me wire my guitar (HSS, 2vol, 1tone, 5 way super-swtich)

Hello everyone,
I am posting this to guide me wire my guitar properly so please help me with any info you have,
first off I have a HSS strat, about 6 months ago I went to overhaul the guitar electronics since its a cheap copy, it had pretty bad electronics,
I have changed the bridge pickup to DPU Time Capsule BB humbucker and a new SSL-6 Seymour Duncan single-coil at the neck and kept the cheap middle for further upgrade in the future, I bought a 5 way super-switch from Fender (the one with the 24 lugs) and some 500k & 250k CTS pots

the idea is to wire the guitar with 2 volume (one for both neck and middle combined and one for the bridge alone) and 1 master tone but the problem is all wiring diagrams are done using a normal 5 way switch not a 5 way super-switch, also am thinking of a 2 way toggle switch to tap the humbucker into single coil (coil split).

if you need any pictures or any extra info regard the guitar electronics please let me know

Welcome to the forum!

Is there any special wiring you want the super switch to do? If not, you can get away with a regular 5 way and a push/pull pot.

the wiring is this :
1st pos neck only
2nd pos neck and mid
3ed pos mid only
4th pos mid and bridge
5th pos bridge only

the only reason I got a super-switch because it give you custom wiring for further ideas and I didn't found a normal switch in local stores so I went with the big one I guess..

I don't want a push/pull pot what I want is a separate toggle switch, when the switch is off the bridge is a humbucker, when its on the bridge is only one single coil (typical coil switch)

as I said 2 volume, one for the neck and middle and one for the bridge alone, plus a master tone for all pickups

Yeah, a regular switch with a push/pull can give you everything you need. You already have that, so I'd just put the super switch in a drawer and find a push/pull pot.

why I can't use my super switch ??!

premierguitar.com (https://www.premierguitar.com/articles/Exploring_Fenders_5_Way_Super_Switch) explain this switch, but the confusing thing is that he uses the 4 steps which is a bit confusing, why did he connect the common with 1 for all the steps ??!


Breja ToneWorks (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3r-3LMLGl0U) have my diagram but he uses a regular 5 way switch, can you help me modify the diagram to work with my switch ??
