Help Mini Bassman

I was looking into building a Mini 5F6 Bassman with 2 6V6 tubes, 12AX7 tubes, tube rectifier, 2 Weber 8F150 w/paper dustcap, 2 Weber 8F150 w/harmonica dustcap, & X Speaker Pattern.

What would you suggest to gat a 5F6 Mini Bassman type tone using 4X8" speakers?

If you want to sound like an actual 5F6A Bassman through anything other than an actual 5F6A Bassman, try getting a Catalinbread Formula 5F6 pedal and accept that your rig will never sound exactly like an actual 5F6A Bassman without an actual 5F6A Bassman.

However, you stated you are building a "mini 5F6" circuit amp with 6V6 tubes and 8" speakers and then asked what would someone suggest to get "mini 5F6 tone" (of which who knows what that is or sounds like.) Seems like a nonsense question. If you are using 2 x 6V6 tubes in an 5F6A Class A/B circuit and 4 x 8" speakers, it's simply going to sound somewhere between a Champ and a Deluxe with 4 speakers.

Oh Edge, you know if he actually gets an amp it will destroy him........precisely how much of his life is devoted to coming up with each weeks amp design no-one knows, but its surely a large bit.
