Help needed: In search for a pickup for an Ibanez s521...but with some conditions.

Hey folks, it's been a while away from the forum. Lots of things going on.
So cut to the chase, I've recently acquired a lovely second guitar (call her plan B), an Ibanez S521 in Mahogany oil finish, very resonant and has a very particular tone to it (somewhat brighter than my PRS CE 22) that also has more output and more "cut through" mix sonics. My Prs is having an SD Pegasus in the bridge because I've never felt so much love for the original Dragon I PU in that position (too nasal- too much output).
Nowadays I've swapped some of my gear so i was thinking that maybe i can make the PRS going original specs again and put the SD Pegasus on the Ibanez to try first and, if it goes right i can later get the Sentient for neck.
Have any of you put the Pegasus- Sentient combo on this Ibanez model?(S521)
If not, what PU's have you mounted on them, or what would you recommend?
Lately i'm playing some Alternative-proggressive rock/metal but i'm more inclined to melodic lines rather than thrashier lines, although I make some chugga from time to time, so versatility it's a must, over crazy output here. I use mid to high gain pedals and i boost so no need for super hot output PU's

Thanks in advance!

I'd say that unless that guitar has weird tonal quirks (super bright or bassy), the Pegasus/Sentient combo would be killer.

I have a couple of S521's, but I'm happy w/ how the stock pup's sound. I have a Dimarzio Tone Zone bridge & Air Norton neck in another of my S Series and those sound fantastic too. No idea's about the Pegaus or Sentient in Saber's but I do have them them in other guitar's & my guess is they would both sound pretty nice in your S521 since neither is particularly bright.

I have a mint S Iron label if interested. Hard tail. Cosmo black. :) Plays like buttah. For real. Not my thing. More of a Strat guy.
