Ok im not sure if this is possible but for my next warmoth project I want to try it. This is what will happen. Instead of having that big fender 5 way switch on my guitar. I want to have 2 small mini switches in the last volume part of the fender 3 way knob setting. But i'll only have 1 volume knob in the 2nd position of the 3 way knob. And in the last position closest to the jack is where the 2 mini switches will go. Sortof hard to understand but you dont need to really for the next part.
Anyway when I play I usually play just on either the neck or bridge pickup. But I am gonna have a middle pickup up on this new guitar. It will be a humbucker, single(hotrails) humbucker. So the first mini switch will be foward(neck humbuker) middle(middle humbucker) and back(bridge humbucker). The 2nd mini switch will be an on off thing. I think stew mac carries an On/off, or an On/On type thing. When the mini switch is on the middle pickup will come on. So say im on the neck pickup I can turn on the middle pickup and play with it on. Then say I dont want it i just turn it off. Same goes for the bridge pickup. Usually the 2nd switch will always be off but if I choose to have the middle pickup in there sometime i can always flip it on. Not sure how this would work. But any help would be appreciated.
Right now my pickups are gonna be the Duncan distortion in the bridge which I already have and the duncan hot rails in the middle which i have and im not to sure what to have in the neck. I need something good that works with sweeping real well. Any help on these subjects would be really appreciated.
