So can somebody help me out? I just got a Fender Classic 60's strat, and was thinking about getting some duncans to go in it. The stock pickups are good and sound basically kuje what I want, so I was thinking SSL-1's, I would like some more umph in the bridge, I dont like the volume difference between the neck and bridge pickups, the bridge needs a bit more output. So could someone also tell me about the SSL-3, & SSL-5&6? And what exactly is the sound difference between Flat and Staggered pickups?

The SSL-1's sound very similar to the pickups SRV used and also very similar to the original pickups in my '63 Strat...same year as the Strat SRV used. (Though I've heard that his was a '62...doesn't matter.)
I'd go for a Twangbanger for the bridge pickup if you want more oomph.
It's one of the best sounding "overwound" Strat bridge single coil pickups I've ever used.
Or if you want the ultimate go for a set of Duncan '62 Surfer Strat pickups for the neck and middle and the 9.5K Surfer Custom bridge pickup. The Surfers are even better than the SSL-1's and I like them even better than the original 40 year old original pickups in my '63 Strat.

I've got the APS' in mine so I can't help you as much with the SSL's. I can tell you to my ears the flats are more focused. Lew has described the staggered pups as livlier, and bubblier. I have a flat in my bridge slot so I could raise it up close to the pup to increase my output a bit.

That's how I hear the staggered vs flat: livlier, bubblier, brighter with the staggered. I'm sure it's because the raised poles are closer to the A. D and G strings and that tends to make those strings sound brighter and have a little more "kiss" and prescence to the tone. I tend to prefer staggered polepiece single coils for the neck and middle but I can go either way with the bridge pickup. Lew

Curly likes the SSL-3 alot...the Strat Hot. I've never tried it but Curly's always mentioning it.
It'd probably be very good as the bridge pickup with a pair of SSL-1's in the neck and middle.
Personally, I'd go for the SSL-1's and the Twangbanger.
