Help... pickup switch question

how do you label the fender 5-way pup switch w/ the 4 hubs on both sides, comparing it to the old stock ibanez 5-way pup switch with all 8 hubs next to eachother? I'm changing my factory Ibby 5-way pup switch to the fender switch? If anyone could help me understand the labeling transversion from the Ibby to the fender switch, I'd really appreciate it?

5 6 7 8
1 2 3 4

1 - bridge hot
2 - mid hot
3 - neck hot
4 - common
5 - common
6 - same as 3, used for tone or splits
7 - same as 2, used for tone or splits
8 - same as 1, used for tone or splits

Ibanez type inline:

1 2 3 4 - 5 6 7 8
