Help plaese.

ok so i ordered an 8 ohm Emenince Govoner for my 50 watt 112 peavey valve king. So I looked on the extention cab sticker and it said 8 ohms and when i looked at the speaker in the amp itself it is 16 omhs so wht should i do? Will I blow the amp or somthing I dont know what to do which should I trust the speaker or the extention cab sticker? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the deal prolly is, the amp itself runs 16 ohms, but if a 16 ohm extension cab is hooked up, the amp switches down to 8 ohms

I'd send it back & get a 16 ohm, but check the manual, i know on hotrod deluxes, you can put an empty plug in one of the jacks & it switches it down from 8 to 4 ohms
