Years ago (around 1984), I put a Duncan stacked humbucker strat replacement pick up into a guitar I had. It was the best sounding strat pick up I've ever owned. I want to put a set of them into a guitar I currently own, but Duncan doesn't make it anymore. I also can't remember what the pick up was called, which makes it kind of hard to find them on Craig's list or E-bay. And that's where I need the help.
It was one of the earliest stacked humbucker strat replacemnt pick ups ever produced. I bought the pick up in 1984, but it was probably in production for quite a while after that. The pick up had no visible pole pieces or blades and a maroon plastic pick up cover. I also want to say the covers had the Duncan "S" with pole pieces logo molded into them.
If anybody can let me know what model this is so I can start searching for them, I would really appreciate it.
