HELP! - WIRING JBjr and LIL 59

The wirograms show the wires coming out of the top of the pickups and heading down towards the controls - if I mount them like this the duncan logos will be upside down, meaning, if the guitar is on a stand, the logos on the pickups will be upside down. This way the wires are coming out of the bottom of the pickup and heading to the top of the pickguard. I can make it all work, but which way is right?

welcome to the forum!!

with the guitar sitting with the body towards the floor and neck to the ceiling you should be able to read the logo. the wiring diagram must be a little funny
