Please help me select how to wire my guitar and what components to use.
I have a Hamer Special. I am putting 3 single coil pickups into it. (Kay thin twinn, and vintage dearmond) I have 4 exisiting holes for pots and switches to work with. (Hamer uses a switch in one hole, a master tone and two volumes. I will cut more if I have to.)
I want the following four combos
neck only
middle only
neck/bridge
bridge only.
I can use the same volume and tone control for all three pickups which leaves me with two holes for switches. I can use push pulls for each pickup or combinations of the same. I don't want to use a strat switch because of the need for machining to put it in but will if it is really the best way. I was thinking about a 4 way rotary switch.
What do you recommend?
