Help with an ID, please

I just purchased a 1991 G&L ASAT, from someone who was selling it for a deceased friend. He told me that it had a Duncan in the neck. The pup has the typical chrome tele cover and the phrase "XN1" on the bottom. Does anyone know what I am dealing with? Thanks in advance.

That is what the X should mean, the person who wound it. And the profession for that initial was stacked pickups, and the N would indicate the neck position and the 1 would indicate a classic or vintage model. Others have posted here asking about that pickup too.
