Ok, I just got a B.C. Rich *drool*. It's great, but what also makes it great creates a problem. Seing as how it is such a pointy guitar I didn't feel like breaking one of the points off so I bought a hardshell case. Here's the problem; B.C. Rich's have large headstocks and when I put it in the case it doesn't rest in the neck cradle, it is held up by the points of the headstock. If I fold up a tee shirt and put that over the neck cradle then it doesn't rest on the headstock anymore, but now the body isn't laying flat in the case. Will the padding on the lid of the case that keeps the neck in place going to damage the neck from too much pressure?
Woo, that was a lot. I'll try to summarize. The guitar doesn't sit right in the case. When I take the stress off the headstock, the guitar no longer lays flat. Is that bad, is it going to put too much stress on the neck?
Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks so much for any help.
