Help with Charvel

Hello folks, i've got a little problem with my Charvel 375. I got it second hand from a friend who was in need of quick money and sold it to me by a very cheap price. Maybe it was 4 or 5 years ago.
Here's the problem. There's a little crack near the neck. It's been there for years but I never noticed any problem with intonation.
What can be done to fix this problem? Taking it to a professional can solve it? What kind of service? Thanks in advance

Re: Help with Charvel

To fix the crack, you just touch it up. If you don't know how to do it just take it to a guitar tech or luthier.

Bro, cant do much about it at all besides touch up the finish. Those cracks dont usually pose any kind of problem so, play the hell out of that axe and dont freakin worry about it!

Re: Help with Charvel

Thank you all, i'll take to a luthier when I save some money.. or maybe just leave this way. I was afraid it would cause big trouble in the future.
thanks again guys

Re: Help with Charvel

Poly finishes are very brittle and hard, the neck joint is the point on the guitar that flexes the most. Lots of poly finished guitars have a crack in the finish at the neck joint. It's just the finish, don't sweat it, the wood is fine.
