Help with choosing and ordering new tubes.

Hi guys I think it may be time for me to order my first set of quad matched power tubes. I have a Marshall 2100 slx 100w head with four el-34's. I plan to order these from this site http://thetubestore.com/ne-el34.html . I just want to the marshall standard tubes to try out because my amp came with ruby tubes.

I'm thinking about getting tubes specified to breakup earlier because I'm mostly into playing with distorted tones.
Do you guys know if I get tubes that do that will they need to be replaced more often than tubes that are specified to breakup later? Cause I think tubes that breakup earlier use more current, correct me if this is wrong, so the tubes get more worn quicker. If they do get worn down faster what tubes do you guys suggest I get, I'm still talking about just the el-34 svetlana tubes?

Do guys know if tubes that distort earlier also get more distorted tones than the tubes that distort later?

Does anyone know about amps help me with these questions? I just got my guitar back from the tech, so the my sss strat is a ssh with 59tb. I also got a blender, so I can get a bunch more versatility than I had before. Right now I'm stuck with just using a old fender 15w ss practice amp.

If it were me I'd go with TAD EL34s.

If your amp came with Rubys, DEFINITELY look into the TAD sets....TAD was spawned out of an ex-Ruby tubes distributor and the matching systems are compatible, meaning they can get you a tube that will save you rebiasing and a huge tonal change should you so desire.... They´re probably also THE people that can best tell you how their tubes sound in comparison :headbang:
