Help with electronics for P90s - what to buy?

Hi! I bought already a pair of Seymour Duncans SP90-2 and I need to buy the electronics...
I am about to buy:
4x CTS pots 500k audio tapers long shaft,
2x Orange Drop caps (but which specification?)
2x treble bleeds

What's the difference between the 0.22 and 0.47 caps?
What's the difference between Orange Drop 715P and the 716P? Some say 716P is better, but why?

Well, I can say that .047 will roll off more highs. As far as types of capacitor, I can't hear the difference or pick out the type from just listening. The value is what matters to me, not the type.

.047 rolls off a ton of treble, to the point that I find them completely useless. For humbuckers and P-90s I like .015 for the neck pickup and .022 for the bridge.

Regarding types I can sometimes tell the difference between ceramic disc caps and something decent (I suspect due to tolerances and drift), but I hear zero difference between Orange Drops and PIO for example. Of the two I prefer Orange Drops as they're less expensive and less prone to failure.

+ orange drops. Consistent, hard to damage.

As far as cap value, I run long leads from cavity. Like dystrust above, lower values tend to work better, but it totally depends on build and I've used a .047 from time to time... Just experiment.

715 vs 716 is minimal difference. the shape is different and they have different leads. the 715 is round and has stiffer steel leads, the 716 is pressed (oval) and has copper leads (tinned so they dont look any different but softer). ive used both and i dont hear a difference. i tend to use .022 as the default but depending on what im after i use .01 to .1

Buy two each of .015, .022 & .047. Try each value for each pickup to see what you prefer. (You may like .015 in the bridge and .022 in the neck, for example)
