I have 2 Jackson pups, which I believe are Seymours
1st is a humbucker 4 wire with a sticker--J-50N 10.2
2nd is a humbucker 4 wire with a sticker --J (?)-3 10.8
The question mark is either a 21 or 11 or H can't tell
If anyone has info let me know, I don't want to register at the Jackson site

Thanks
Dom L

P.S these may be for sale later!!

Don't know, I inherited them, I read somewhere that Duncan winds for Jackson, just a thought

Re: Help with Jackson pups

maybe Duncan really does make Jackson's pups... you could always email SD couldnt you?

Re: Help with Jackson pups

No, they are stock Jackson pickups. The J50n is a USA made Jackson pickup. It was Jackson's version of a PAF with an AlNiCo magnet I believe.

J-50N Vintage Jazz:
Neck version of the J-50, ideally suited to reproducing the sparse upper harmonics characteristic of the string in the neck position. Has 6.66% reduction in the total number of turns of magnet wire of the J-50B.
SR (in KHz) 6.68
Z (@ SR in M Ohms) 5.3
Inductance (in Henries) 5.0
Q (@ SR) 25.3
Resistance (In K ohms) 8.34

I'm not familiar with a JH3 but there was a JH2 that was an import pickup. So it would be a safe bet that a JH3 was also an import pickup. Don't know much about that one, though.
