help with pickup ID....

how can you identify the magnets amd impedence of pickups, without info from the manufacturer? ive got a pair of mmk45s from the Aria company (matsumoko) and i'm interested in finding out about them. they do sound good and i'm curious to find out what makes them tick :wave: :thanks:

to find the dc resistance use a multimeter, should be between 5,000 ohms and 20,000 ohms (5k really low to 20k really high)
a vintage single coil is around 6k where a vintage humbucker is around 8k
