Help with PRS volume pot

I have a 90s PRS. Volume pot has always been useless. Need to turn it down over half way to have it turn down. Replaced it with a new PRS pot. Same thing.

Are these pots just that way? Any ideas what to use to get a normal taper as my 80s Les Paul and 2000s Strat?

Is the volume pot for one pickup in particular or all of them? If it’s for one of them, does the other do the same? I don’t know what kind of pots are in PRS guitars but if it were my guitar I wouldn’t hesitate to swap them for some “quality” parts from a big name like CTS or something like that.

What else is in the circuit? You say it’s happened again with the replacement too.
