Hello! Im trying to run 2 amp heads at once and getting hum. I think its a ground loop but no sure....So i will try to explain in detail how everything is hooked up.....Im running my guitar--tube screamer--y adapter (to split the signal) into both inputs of hush super c---both outputs to the input of a Krankenstein head and Chadwick Head.....Also also am running a digitech tsr-24 into a BBE Sonic Maximizer though both heads(both pieces are stereo). I tried using a ground lift on both one of the heads it helped little but im still getting hum...Oh also both heads are being powered by a Furman Power conditioner. I also noticed that on my BBE Sonic Maximizer Channel A Input level is lighting up and channel B Input level in barely coming on...Maybe my signals arent split correctly? Again im spltting my signal with one of those Hosa Y adapters..Please help any info will be appreciated!

Re: Help!!with running 2 heads!!

another cool way i run my big rig is to have a Head Switcher... Radial makes a version of that... you can A/B between 2 heads into a single cab... you just have to make sure the cables are hooked up right... don't want to blow an output transformer with no speaker load... i think Radials version is called Headbone... They make 3 versions...one for 2 Tube Heads, or 1 Tube/1 SS, and yet another for 2 SS heads

but the Switchbone is the way to go for stereo set ups or a/b'ing between two amps into seperate speaker cabs...
