Help With Strat Wiring

Help! Okay rewired my old MIJ strat. I have a hot rails bridge, jb middle, and cool neck. Hot and JB have been in there for awhile, but just recently I changed the tone pots to CTS 500K (they were 500K before), and added the cool rails neck.

I followed all the schematics on the site, but I'm not sure if its working. I had to rewire the jack too as the old one was messed up.

With the strings off and the pick guard off, how can I tell if this is going to work. I really DON'T want to go through the trouble of putting it back together only to find out it doesn't work.

I kind of tap on the pups but I don't get any sound. Like nothing comes out of the amp. I tap on them with something metal. Is this a valid way to check? I'm just not sure and like I said I don't want to put it together again only to find out its messed up. Help!

Here's the schematic I used, as far as I can tell I have it hooked up right.

Re: Help With Strat Wiring

Jeff; If you tap very gently on the pickups pole piece with a piece of metal, like a screwdriver, you should definitely get a noise of some sort out. If you can, turn reverb or delay up pretty high also. That just helps identify the "ping".

Don't forget to move the pup selector to each position individually, and have volume and tone on 10.

If you get nothing, then something's wrong.
