Help with Tone! :)

Alright. This is my Schecter SLS C-7 sound right now. I am running into a 3120 raw, with a g-flex 2x12. It has S.D. Blackouts (AHB1s). I have uploaded a sloppy run through of the opening of "Scarsick" by Pain of Salvation I was trying to tab out earlier.

So basically, this is my first time recording anything. But this is my tone. I love the rawness of this kind of tone. However, I am looking for it to be less...cold. To my ears, my tone sounds very "cold" opposed to a "warm" distortion. I am looking for a way to maybe get it to sound a little smoother, and definitely warmer.

Suggestions? :D

PS: sorry for the ****ty quality, first time trying to mic my cab...ever. Lmao.

Treble: 7 out of 10
Mid: 4.5 out of 10
Bass: 3 out of 10
Distortion/gain: 1.5 out of 10

Lead channel

for those who don't wanna d/l, http://soundcloud.com/jasonclement it's the first track listed.

:)

Pick up suggestions moooore than welcome :)

First thing is to get rid of the reverb which makes it sound hollow and cold. Then try giving it more mids if you want warmth. Maybe a bit more bass as well.

Re: Help with Tone! :)

Less treble and turn your master volume to about 2 o clock and use the channel volume to control howloud it is
