Help with wiring diagram please

Hi

Could anyone please help me, I'd like to do this but adding a 50's wiring to it, I guess I'd just have to switch a couple of wires but I'm not that good with electronics. BTW I have Hot rails, I guess it'd be the same? Thanks!

Re: Help with wiring diagram please

You won't be able to do '50's wiring with that drawing unless you go with a master tone for the whole guitar, rather than the 'one tone per pickup' that is in the drawing.

Re: Help with wiring diagram please

According to this article you can do 50's wiring with a strat, but I'm not sure how you would integrate that into the existing diagram? http://www.premierguitar.com/articles/Gibson_50s_wiring_on_a_Stratocaster

Re: Help with wiring diagram please

then he needs to get another push/pull pot.. problem solved

I believe it will take more than one push-pull to convert the original drawing into one that would split 3 pickups simultaneously and have '50's wiring for the tone pots. Unless you've seen a 3PDT push-pull for guitar?

I think super-switch might be better option.

going by the original drawing that the op posted.. that had already one push/pull.. guess i could of drawn one up but was busy doing other stuff

or just use the drawing i drew awhile back for someone that had a 50's wiring in a strat with 2 tones awhile back

yea.. superswitches are awesome but i hate auto-splitting a pup.. i know thats just me and others like it but im not a fan

Yeah but that's what the original drawing did. The blade auto split all three. So adding a push pull in order to use the blade to get 50s tone would not have solved the op ask.

huh.. im lost....

take all the mods out of the equation and either use 2 push/pulls for splitting or use the 4 quadrant of the super that is NOT being used to auto-split
