Help!!

Ok I have now installed blackout and followed the directions and there is no longer any noise being produced by the guitar. I had a passive emg in it the guitar is an alexi 600. Is there anyway to get it to work? No sound whatsoever.

If you have a multimeter, check that your battery has charge, and check that there's no short between the signal wires (hot) and earth.

Pots I am sure are right. Used what came with the pickup. i checked the battery it is getting charge. Im getting the feeling I messed up so ill take it to samash today. I bought the service warranty for it there so it will be covered. I just figured I would try this myself it looked fun.

it shouldnt be that hard to find the mistake if you have a meter. first thing to check is the jack to make sure you have those three contacts wired correctly, then check all the ground wires

Did you use a stereo jack?
That's a requirement, because the one lug on the jack activates the battery. If not, then the battery is not working = no sound.
