Help

I have a '67 Reissue Gibson Flying V that I'm trying to re-equip. The main problem i have with it right now is it's lack of volume and that the bridge humbucker is too active with feedback. I'm used to being able to play quite loud, stop, and not have any feedback. What Humbucker's would you suggest I use so that I can keep a metal tone, but lose all that extra feedback.

Re: Help

Got a DD in the bridge of my V. I play on an Engl screamer 50 with distortion to the max and never had problems with feedback. The DD delivers a pretty tight distortion that I like. You should give it a try.

Re: Help

I use a Modified CC and a ´59 in mine (modified with an extra magnet, Approx Custom-7 IMO). The Duncan custom was TOO tight for me, but the pure aggression was still undeniable. It sounded great as a "pure "cc as well.

Therefore: Any custom series PUP ans the ´59 ;)
