Hendrix PUs for LH strat

Hi, I'm a bit of a Hendrix fan and so I've bought a left handed US standard strat which (being right handed) I've turned upside down and restrung right handed. My question is which replacement pickups will get me closest to hendrix's set up - I was going to say Hendrix sound, but, having listened to Driving South twenty times this weekend, only Hendrix had Hendrix's sound.

I assume that I will need left handed pickups to go with an upside down left handed guitar - to emulate right handed pickups in an upside down right handed guitar. So which pickups do you experts suggest and where do I get them from in the UK?

I don't know aboutthe left handed thing but my favorite pickups for Hendrix tone would be the same ones I'd recommend for Knopfler tone or SRV tone or Buddy Guy tone or just plain classic Stratocaster tone: Duncan SSL-1 or Duncan Antiquity Surfers or Fralin Vintage Hots. Alnico 5. 6K to 6.3K. Lew

As far as the staggered poles yes, I'd get the LH staggered.

Lew apologies for dragging you over my standard strat tone question - I've just done what I should have in the first place and read your strat tone thesis in the vault - wonderful. As for writing a book - you have a very readable style if you don't mind me saying - give it some thought.
