For sale.
Just can no longer play these gibby style guitars with my hand issues. Otherwise no way in hell I would ever sell this guitar.
Its a 2004 model. Has nickel covered Gibson Burstbucker 1/2 pups in it (NOT the duncans that are in the pics). Guitar is 9 out of 10 condition. Has some minor surface scratching from picking, etc, as well as some on the back, and can find 2 small indents/dings. None of these show up in pics, you have to put them in bright light. Nothing through the finish...all on the surface.
1 piece HONDURAS mahogany. No fake Asian crap. Gorgeous one piece maple cap, Honduras Mahogany neck, real Mother of Pearl inlays, ivoroid binding. These are handcrafted and anyone who is familiar with them knows Hamer USA models are in the upper echelon of craftsmanship, and are the company who put Boutique building on the MAP.
Guitar itself has a wonderful natural violin like sustain and still has plenty of crispness and detail for clean chord work. It will rock, it will Jazz, and everything inbetween. It is classic 1950s Les Paul tone through and through. No asian import upgraded pickup wannabe les Paul tones here. Its the real deal.
Although I got it for an insanely low bid last summer, and its probably worth more now with what is (not) going on @ Hamer, I feel wierd selling it for more than I paid for it, or even what I did pay, since I have put the aforementioned minor wear on it.
$850 shipped, lower 48 USA w/ hardshell Hamer case only trades I am interested in are for 850 US dollars.
I have the original black rings and some black speed knobs if you'd rather have those.
