hey all, funny question

i'm noticing the more i check out guitars at the store, the more i like the one i have, which is an Ibanez GSA-60
it's a run-of-the-mill guitar, nameless pickups, agathis body, no-name tuners, cheap trem system, all that jazz.... but it sounds really shreddy, yet clear, i really like it.... maybe i'm just used to it, and i have no way of recording a clip for you guys unless xp comes with tools i dont know about, but when i hear pretty much any other guitars they sound weak and hollow, like they have this midrange fog to them, and just muck grunge for distortion.... even gibsons and PRS and stuff
anyway i was wondering if it's just me being overly used to it or if i stumbled across heaven and i just have to suffer with the wrong body shape

click on start>all programs>accessories>entertainment>sound recorder

its a crappy recording advice, and you can only do 60 seconds at a time, but give it a shot....

Actually, you can go longer with SR if you need it in a pinch, but its a convoluted way of doing things. Just hit record. When the 60 seconds is up, hit record again, again, 'til you get the length you need. Then save that wave file as some name you'll remember, like "template" or something. Now, just open that file and record what you want. Save it as another file name so as not to overwrite your template.

There are better free programs, though.
