Hey Joe - a remix. Tele, Blackstone, VS Rte 66, DRII

I posted a jam of Hey Joe a while back. Here's a slightly different version, same backing. Got the vocal track from my buddy in Germany who did the vocals on my Stormy Monday jam.

The gear line-up for this is so:

Custom-made Tele (Rio Grande p'ups) -> Blackstone MOSFET OD -> VS Rte 66 compressor -> Deluxe Reverb II (Rivera Fender) -> mic -> UB802 mixer -> PC -> n-Track software

I never turned off the Blackstone or the compressor to show how well this OD pedal cleans up with picking dynamics or guitar volume changes. All clean-to-overdrive sounds were just done with the guitar's volume knob or changing picking dynamics. I was plugged into the clean channel of the amp and the amp volume never went over 3, so it's pretty clean on the amp side.

Hope you like it :D

Nice job, as usual!

That singer really has sort of an extremely laid back yet dangerous thing going on.

Thanks for posting!
