HFS+Vintage Bass vs Custom+PGn

Hello,

I have a Custom + PGn right now. I would like to know the differences with the PRS HFS/Vintage Bass combo?
I read that HFS is close to a Custom, but I think there is some differences...

I'd like to know that, too. I've only had extended experience with the original Dragons, which were fairly tame in output....they lacked the character of a PG set. I know they lack the sizzle of a Custom.

Honestly very little imo. The custom is just slightly lighter in the mids vs the HFS and the PG is a bit brighter and tighter in the low end than the V-bass. The differences are pretty minimal. I have stuck with the HFS / v-bass in my std22 personally.
