HH 5 way superswitch wiring

Hi, I'm new here, I customized an Ibanez RG350, changed the pickup configuration to a HH (Air norton S on neck and Gravity Storm on bridge) and I'm kinda noob on wiring configurations, I recently bought a 5 way superswitch and want to wire it like: 1 full neck, 2 neck (south) bridge (north), 3 Full neck and bridge, 4 Neck (north) bridge (south), 5 full bridge...So far so good, but I would like to add a push pull on tone to work as a series parallel switch and 2 toggle switchs (one for each pickup) to turn into single/humbucker, Is it possible?, thanks in advance

P.S. A friend told me this could work but if for example I put the neck pickup on single mode position 2 or 4 could get muted, is it true? is there any way to make it work?

Re: HH 5 way superswitch wiring

Or use the ibanez 5 way switch that comes on their HH guitars.

Neck series
Neck parallel
Both humbuckers
Inner coils parallel
Bridge series

I like the fact that i get all the most useful sounds without having switches all over the place

Re: HH 5 way superswitch wiring

I did a similar scheme, without the push/pull..I wrote a blog about it, too.

Great, but do you know if it's possible to add a switch or push pull for changing humbucker to single, or any other ideas? I would like a versatile guitar with that configuration, I've already bought the superswitch and own mini toggles and a push pull pot :(

Re: HH 5 way superswitch wiring

I am a little confused...so you want the super switch to auto split the pickups, but another switch to do the same (or turn one of the pickups off when 1 coil of the other pickup is selected)?

Hmmm, I'm wanting like an extra 2 positions: 1 full neck, 2 neck (south) bridge (north), 3 Full neck and bridge, 4 Neck (north) bridge (south), 5 full bridge but I would like to also have a way so I can change position 1 and 5 from humbucker to single coil (with a toggle switch or push pull dunno)

Re: HH 5 way superswitch wiring

So essentially, it would have to either shut one pickup off when in positions 2 & 4 or would it would override whatever was selected by the 5 way? If it was a simple coil cut switch for both pickups, you'd have to make sure it wasn't selected in positions 1, 3, 5. Or it would be redundant.
