Hi all,
Long-time user and ‘lurker’, first time poster. Have always used SD in my arsenal and still do, always been a fan of Alnico Pro II’s both in humbucker and single format.
Anyway, onto my query.
I recently acquired a Liberator BYOP Stratocaster pickguard. Mainly for curiosity and also to allow a quick swap over on my workmate Strat for trying different tones.
The issue is, I cannot find any detailed instructions on how to wire the Liberator up with single coils. All instructions, (included the ones included, pertain to using humbuckers with the Liberator). I have had a search on here for past threads.
Can anyone help with some diagrams or instructions?
If it helps I am currently trying out a set of Lace Sensors (boo hiss! ;-)) with the BYOP pick guard. Lace use orange for hot.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am keen to try out the Liberator (I love vintage, but appreciate innovation), but at the moment due to a lack of instructions it is proving slower than getting out the soldering iron.
Thanks to all in advance!
