So I hope you like them. I've been playing for a year. Please rate them. I recommend you lisaten to FourHorsemen, Ride the LIghtning, Enter Sandman, Master of Puppets, Fade to black (Jam), And Holy Wars even though the timing is off because of that stupid Backing track. All this was recorded with a stupid little mic (so thats why I have such horrible tone), an Ibanez Amp (yes I know its crappy) and a Jackson KE1.

Im listening to orion first as I love this song. It builds up well but the drum pattern sounds like too much of a horse trotting along then the kinda beat I would have used. So far it sounds good, Yeah this sounds alright. The sound quality isnt very good but I understand why. The break in orion sounds decent, I love this part of orion and you are playing it fairly well besides a few little errors its fine, well done.

Im listening to fade to black now, nice tone and the drums sound alot better so far. Very good so far besides one scuffed note, very good transition into the main theme, good groove I like it. There seems to be a string out of tune on your guitar though. The distorted parts are good. Im on the outtro solo now, so far so good. Well done nice job.


Im listening to master of puppets now. You need to work on this one a bit more, you are not getting the intro down. The timing was wrong. Its better on the verse parts tho. Im at the mid section part now. Nice tone and playing, the solo sounds good. The end solo, the timing is way off you rush the phrasing somewhat, you need to slow down and try not to rush.

Ok the intro is a tad sketchy, it could be alot better but its not bad. The verse part is good. It sounds like you are playing along to the cd, so far its ok im almost at the solo. you almost had the thrash part, but not quite. You play the second groove well the part leading up to the solo. You sounded out of tune on the bit immediatley before the solo. The actual solo had alot of out of tune bits in it and you also rushed the runs again, overall the solo was very sloppy. Remember Im not here to be nasty I like to give good criticism, I believe you have the potential to do very well, if you work on your timing and accuracy you will be really good.

OK cool....thanks anyways. Can you listen to Ride the Lightning/Holy Wars/Enter Sandman....On Ride I messed up on the intro- I forgot the 2nd guitar lol.....And I improvised the solo. On Holy Wars don't critisize me on timing cause its also because of the crappy backing track that has off timing...oh and when you hear Sandman dont make fun of the vocals- thats just your typical 13 year old trying to sing lol....

Ill give you some advise on the intro you are doing, use some vibrato to get more sustain. You are playing it very staccato, shortish notes, you should aim to drag those notes out alot more. You go into the strumming well, good feel so far. So far its of a good sort of standard. Flash before my eyes, now its time to dieeeeee. this is good so far. the way you slow it down is good. The solo starts well and is pretty good.

Ill give you a 6/10 for this, and as Im not very givey with the out of 10 things (eg ill most likely give an amazing film a 9, because I never give 10's I reserve those for something that will absolutely astonish me).

You are off to a very good start. Well, nothing can really be done about your budget-gear tone, but just keep practicing and you'll be wowing the ladies in no time ;) Sounds to me like you've got the basic foundations down, it's just a matter getting the little things like vibrato, pitch-training, sustaining notes, rhythm, etc.

Keep it up! You have potential.

Im back, Listening to the new master. Miles better than the other one, its a big difference. Your playing is alot tighter on this, still very slightly off in parts but thats just practice dude and you'll nail it. This is very good so far,
I like the way you play the bridge to chorus parts very tight. You are playing the main riff well, but its fractionally off, but still it is played very well.

coming to the middle section now, so far I like alot.

The middle section is sounding sexy, im loving the synth, really warms it up.
Although the solo is not perfect in perfect sence it works really well. This is sooo much better than the other version, good how you bring it back to the heavy as well.

master , master , wheres those dreams that ive been after.

onto the solo, miles better than last time you got the timing a million times better, no rushing of the runs this time around, well done.


coming towards the end now, I think you have done really well on this. Improvement by loads, nice laugh.
