High output middle PU?

Gudday all.

I've got a strat copy with a Dimarzio Fast Track2 in the bridge, and a HotRails Neck in the neck. The volumes of these two picksups is way above the stock one left in the middle.

Any suggestions what to replace the middle one with? It's basically a flatout rock guitar and I rarely use the middle anyway on my HSH kramer or HH strat but right now positions 2 and 4 are unusable...

Before i read your post i thought Hot Rails immediately (i have that in my RG), but if you don't want tht in the middle too, how about a Cool Rails?

Yeah I have Hot Rails in neck and middle of my Jackson SL3 and it works well. But I'd prefer a Cool Rails in the middle, just for the different tonal options.

Cool Rails, Fast Track 1, Chopper, all these should do it for you...
