Anyone installed a Hipshot Contour with the Fender 2 post bushings? Got one installed this way, but its not so stable.
I have a little doubt with the bushings supplied (threaded portion is a LOT smaller) and that the bridge needs to be mounted high (got mine .090" above the body). I thinking about buying some replacement Fender bushings, throw them on the lathe and polish the beejeezus out of the groove.
on the plus side - I really like the way this bridge sounds and its really smooth with 4 springs. Seems a little bigger sounding than the Stock Fender.
