hipshot hardtail

i'm thinking of getting this

to put on my gordon smith instead of the trem that i never use. (theres no route for it before someone says that )

does anyone have any experience and is it any good?

No experienience with this particular bridge but I can tell you that Hipshot makes top quality stuff. I know a luthier that uses all Hipshot bridges and tuners on his basses, the quality is evident. I've ordered a Hipshot Trilogy bridge and a Hipshot roller nut for a lapsteel I'm building.

i've used the hipshot hardtails and they're quality solid machined brass bridges

They are the best, readily available hardtail bridge, bar none, IMO.
