Frito's Better Half
Whenever I play my Squire 57 RI, I sound almost exactly like SRV. But, here's the catch, it's a one piece maple neck, vintage frets and radius, and I'm playing through my Envoy. I get closer to his sound than when using my homemade 62 RI (which is in peices right now, but I know the tone). I find it really weird. and I'm using 11's.
