I was getting my Epiphone Emperor ready to sale and while I was checking it out, I found that all the pots were shot. I've pulled one out. It's one of those tiny little pots with a long shaft. The only marking I can make out is "B5." So I'm not sure what value they are. I mean in terms of resistance, monetarily they are worthless, maybe even less. I'm guessing they are probably 300k, since Gibson is so fond of those. Normally I would go with 500k with humbuckers, but this is a full hollow body. I've only used it for jazz (heavy flatwound strings, low action). So dark may be better. Should I go with 250k pots? And I haven't even looked at Caps yet. Any suggestions?
