Home Depot for guitar gear? Seriously?

I was looking for a case for my Jackson bass, and Home Depot came up in the search results. Its a decent-looking case at a great price for a budget bass.

I got my Peavey Classic 20 on Walmart for much less than Sweetwater or MF with a free guitar cable.

Once in a while, I will find a retired tradesman in Home Depot who knows his stuff. The kids working there are clueless.

I cant take being Cawwwed by 6 commision vulchers befor Ive taken 10 steps through the door. Thats why I havent been in a GC in nearly 13yrs.

Funny they call it "briefcase" As much as I'd love to stroll around Home Depot with a guitar case, 2 gallons of primer, and 10 ft 2x4s on a cart it's a ship to store only item. They have some cheapo student guitar kits too. Its like people said all these huge retailers trying to copy the amazon / ebay marketplace format. Walmart has some Duncans for sale online only by Musicians Friend, Macdaddy and others.

Interesting they’re selling products to get you out of your home. I guess I should say “trying to sell.” I don’t think they move a lot of these.
