Home Small Studio Setup Backing Tracks

I am building home setup for playing louder with backing tracks.. the amp i have is Blackstar HT-5. i don't want to use headphones, but i want a good system connected to laptop for just running backing tracks seperate from the amp. it must be loud enough to playing with 5 walve amplifier ! backing tracks must be loud enough ! what kind of speakers do i need, and do i need external sound card ? i am using Guitar Pro 5 right now, but if there is better quality software program with backing tracks let me now ! i have the room, which i want to transfer to small studio ! Please, suggestions !
