hot bridge pickup for a tele

hello!
i have a tele with CS Texas Special pickups, im going to install a full 59' humbucker at the neck and
looking for a high output single coil for the bridge position.
not aiming to anything "metal" , but i want this guitar to rock hard with a kinda thick throaty gain that would fit modern heavy rock styles,
also dont really care for "full-out" twang but would like to keep some of the tele "flavor" of the guitar.

i would like to choose between these 2 options:
1. stl2 hot lead - sounds like the best option to get higher gain tones and still keep the tele sound, but might not have enough "balls"
2. quarter pound - probably would deliver the goods, but dont know how much would left of the tele character.

what would you recommend?
thanks :]

Just curious how you are going to wire it? 5 way? Push/Pull?

I've always wanted to try a BG1400/Pearly Gates or QP Tapped/59 in my Tele.

My favorite is the Lil'59. It has plenty of beef but still very much retains a bit of Tele bridge tone. I put them in all of my T style guitars.
