Hot lead question

I'm a bucker player, not much experience with singles.
My friend wants a hot lead, but in a strat not a tele.
What installation probs would I encounter? Would it work at all? What would be a comprable strat pup?

Well, i also don't have a lot of experience with strat pups. But if you plan on doing this yourself, you'll have to remove the installed pups at the moment with a soldering iron. And then install the new ones by soldering the necessary wires e.t.c. You'll only encounter problems if you install it wrong, or it's a dodgy pup or if you damage any of the wires/components in the process of soldering and/or mishandling. Secondly, a strat pup is a strat pup. You will have different measurements of output, but initially, still a strat pup. If your looking for a vintage pup, then you'll probably want to be looking at the lower to medium outputs. Don't try soldering or doing this yourself without researching it, and knowing what is what.
